Deputy Minister of Higher Education resigns

DEPUTY MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND LEARNING RESIGNS
Mduduzi Manana has resigned as Deputy Minister of higher education and learning following assault charges that were laid against him by 2 women. The former deputy minister is accused of assaulting 2 2 women at a Johannesburg night club. Manana is alleged to have assaulted the women after a conversation about the up-coming elections and his sexual orientation became heated. He has since issued a public apology and resigned as the deputy minister.
